Culture
I am often asked about company culture -- why it truly matters, how it is built and how it can erode; and the role both leaders and employees play in building, shaping, maintaining and evolving it. When I answer these questions, I often make a parallel to The Great Wall of China - a special place that I am truly in awe with every time that I have been fortunate to walk on it over the years.
The Great Wall of China was not built to impress for a quarter or a season. It was built to endure. It was built to protect and defend.

Stone by stone. Layer by layer.
With discipline, consistency, and a clear purpose behind every section constructed. It was built not by one single person, rather by teams of people that were aligned and working together as one with strong clarity and communication.
Strong company culture works in a similar way.
The organizations built to last are not held together by slogans or perks. They stand on a foundation of unwavering ethics, integrity, consistent standards, and people who show up every day committed to bringing their A-Game to achieve consistent, positive results.
Culture is built by:
* Doing the right thing when no one is watching
* Maintaining standards even when things are challenging
* Developing people and believing in their potential
* Hiring and promoting people who elevate those around them
* Creating accountability without sacrificing trust
* Staying consistent through both growth and adversity
Like the Great Wall, lasting culture is not built overnight. It takes intention, resilience, and people aligned around something bigger than themselves.
When the foundation is strong, the mission can withstand almost anything.
